The City of Paris has four Commissioners that are elected by the citizens of Paris to act as their representatives in all legislative matters. Their primary duties are to enact ordinances, resolutions, municipal orders, appointing administrative personnel and members to the boards, adopt policies and procedures that are for the ultimate good of the community as a whole. Commissioners are elected for a two-year term.
City Commission meetings are held at City Hall located at 525 High Street in the Commission Chambers. Meetings are scheduled at 9:00 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, meetings are open to the public.
